Skywave Broadband WIFi Expansion Continues
New hotspots in Ala Moana Shopping Center, Restaurant Row, and Kauai
HONOLULU - Skywave Broadband, one of the state?s fastest growing Wireless Broadband Providers, announced additional WiFi coverage with new hotspot locations in Ala Moana Shopping Center, Restaurant Row, and in Waipouli, Kauai. Skywave has nearly fifty active WiFi access points and continues to expand its coverage in retail and rooftop environments as it works towards its goal of city-wide WiFi.
The Ala Moana and Waipouli, Kauai hotspots are in conjunction with the new The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii locations that have recently opened for business. This represents Skywave?s first outer island location, and more are planned as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii continues its state-wide roll-out. Skywave WiFi is available to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii customers for free with the purchase of a drink or food item. Skywave WiFi is available at all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii stores, including Manoa, Hawaii Kai, and Kailua town.
"Skywave has done an outstanding job delivering its managed WiFi service to our stores," said Teppi Waxman, Director of Operations for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Hawaii. "The free WiFi has really resonated with some of our customers."
The new Restaurant Row location builds upon Skywave?s existing strategic partnership with the Shidler Group. The Shidler Group is making broadband Internet and other technology amenities part of its common-area maintenance fee, and Skywave currently provides managed WiFi in the lobby of the Davies Pacific Center in downtown. The new Restaurant Row location is in conjunction with the Row Bar. Customers can visit the Row Bar to receive a 1 or 2 hour pass to the Skywave WiFi network.
"We are thrilled to have expanded our WiFi coverage into these prestigious locations," said Josh Beil, President & CEO of Skywave Broadband. "Additional retail and rooftop locations are currently in progress as well, and we welcome the opportunity to work with new locations and partners to build-out even further."
